BALAJI
ADMISSION TEST (BAT) | |
|
| 1. | To
ensure the best possible selection
process of Sri Balaji Society we conduct
a common selection process for all the
Management Institutes of Sri Balaji
Society that starts with Balaji Admission
Tests (BAT). Followed by this Group
Discussions and Personal Interviews
will be held. The experienced panel
members are competent to assess the
suitability of the candidates. | | | 2. | Balaji
Admission Test (BAT) will be
conducted for short listing of candidates
for GD and Interview in all of the selection
centres which are notified. The test
will be used for the common admission
process of the following institutions
of Sri Balaji Society:- | | | | | | | 3. | The
contents of BAT will be at
par with CAT. The same pattern will
be followed. However 'general knowledge'
will constitute an additional part of
the paper. Students are advised to read
Economic Times and to follow business
related reading to prepare for the part
of General Knowledge. | | | 4. | All
the institutes of Sri Balaji
Society will also accept CAT / XAT /
MAT / SNAP scores which can be attached
to the application form or brought by
hand and submitted before the GD at
the reception counter of the Institute.
Such students may opt out of BAT if
so desired. Yet it is desirable that
the aspirants attend the BAT. If any
student applies to BAT additionally,
the best out of the two scores will
be considered. However procuring our
application form and submission of the
same by due date with registration fee
of Rs.600/- can not be dispensed with
and hence is mandatory if you want to
apply to BIMM. | | | 5. | All
the four institutes (BIMM /
BITM / BIIB / BIMHRD) will have a common
selection process (that is BAT followed
by GD / PI) at a time in all the selection
centers. This way they can expect to
have a fair chance to get selected to
either of the premier institutes. A
separate column to facilitate the same
is catered for, in the application form. | | | 6. | Similarly,
the selection committee will
assess the suitability of applicants
of BIMM for admission to our sister
institutions also, that is BIIB, BITM
& BIMHRD and record their opinion
during the interviews. This is to enable
Sri Balaji Society to consider meritorious
students for admission to BITM, BIIB
& BIMHRD in case of vacancy in these
institutes at the time of preparation
of the merit list for each centre. |

Stages
of Admission Procedure

case a student is unable to
appear in any selection centre
on the particular date, due
to any reason, he / she may
go to any other centre according
to convenience for which prior
permission is not required.
A hall ticket issued for one
centre is valid for all the
centres. |

|
Stage One : Entrance Examination | |

will be held in each centre on different
dates, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on the
first day of selection process. | | (b) | Short
listed candidates can apply for GD and
Interview on the same day / subsequent
days as convenient to the institute
as well as to the students. In major
centres GD and PI may be extended to
more days. | | (c) | Those
who produce the score sheet of CAT /
MAT / XAT / SNAP can directly appear
for GD and Interview at 10:00 AM onwards
on the dates notified even when the

on all the dates notified though we
shall give priority to those who come
from distant places. | | (b) | Those
short-listed candidates from the GD
will only go through the interview by
expert panels. Those not selected for
the interview are considered to have
been eliminated from our selection process
and will not be eligible for consideration
to any of the institutions of Sri Balaji
Society. | | (c) | Students finally selected for admission
to any of our institutions will be intimated
within 15 days from the date of the
interview. An admission letter will
also be issued formally. |
|
|
Stage Three: Confirmation
of admission |
Selected
students will be required to remit
the first installment of the course fees within
one month from the date of issue of admission
letter to confirm the admission. In case a student
wants to withdraw from the course he / she may
do so within 30 days from the last date of payment
of fee for the respective centre, in which case
only 50% of the fee remitted is refundable.
No fee is refundable after the due dates. |

We
have always followed different and
unconventional methods and procedures. We propose
to declare the merit list for each centre for
each institute within 15 days after the selection
process at each centre. We shall also maintain
the waiting list which will be considered with
the last selection centre. This is keeping in
view the fact that students are applying to
various management institutes and hence we want
the students who apply for admission to the
management institutes of Sri Balaji Groups should
be told of their status with us as early as
possible. These merit lists will be drawn by
our learned experts accordingly keeping in view
the standards expected and openings available
for admission for our Institutions.
